The Bone Lab volunteered at Second Saturday at Mission Science Workshop in San Francisco. Students explored anatomy, evolution, and biomechanics using bones collected from Thanksgiving turkeys!

The Bone Lab is going to be at the Second Saturday event at Mission Science Workshop in San Francisco. Students will be bringing in the bones from their Thanksgiving turkeys! We will clean up those turkey bones and use them to learn all about the anatomy, evolution and biomechanics of one of nature’s most remarkable creations — flying vertebrates!  |
